Diamond Lapping Film – Sheets and Discs

Diamond Lapping Film is a high-precision abrasive material coated with micron-graded diamond particles on a polyester backing. It is designed for polishing and finishing hard materials like ceramics, glass, carbide, metals, and fiber optic connectors.

 Product Forms

1. Sheets

  • Standard Sizes:

    • 3” × 6” (76 mm × 152 mm)

    • 8.5” × 11” (216 mm × 279 mm)

    • 230 mm × 280 mm

  • Applications: Manual polishing, flat surfaces, connector end-face touch-up.

  • Backing: Available with or without PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive).

2. Discs

  • Standard Diameters:

    • 3" (76 mm), 5" (127 mm), 6" (150 mm), 8" (203 mm), 12" (305 mm), and custom sizes.

  • Applications: Machine polishing, flat lapping systems, fiber optic connector polishing fixtures.

  • Center Hole: Optional (typically 1/4” or 1” depending on polisher type).
