Microfinishing Polishing Film Roll For Automotive Crankshaft and Camshaft Surface finishing
Microfinishing Polishing Film Rolls are high-performance abrasive materials engineered for the precision surface finishing of automotive crankshafts and camshafts. Designed to deliver consistent Ra values, superior roundness, and bearing surface integrity, these films are used in both OEM and aftermarket engine component production lines.
XYT Microfinishing Films feature micron-graded abrasives (such as Aluminum Oxide, Silicon Carbide, or Diamond) uniformly coated on a flexible, high-strength PET backing, providing exceptional wear resistance and controlled cut rates. These rolls are ideal for use in oscillating microfinishing machines, reel-to-reel polishing systems, and centerless polishing setups.
Abrasive Materials:
Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃): for steel, cast iron
Silicon Carbide (SiC): for hardened steel, nitrided surfaces
Diamond: for ultra-hard materials (optional)
Backing Material: PET film (75μm – 125μm thickness)
Grit Sizes: 9μm, 15μm, 30μm, 45μm, 60μm, 80μm
Roll Width: 10mm – 350mm (customizable)
Roll Length: 10m, 50m, 100m, or as required
Adhesive Option: PSA (Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive) or Non-PSA
Color: Varies by grit (e.g., white, green, gray)

Precision Engine Component Manufacturing (ICE and EV)
✅ Consistent Surface Roughness – Achieves Ra as low as 0.05μm
✅ Excellent Roundness Control – Maintains tight tolerance across rotational surfaces
✅ Durable and Long-Lasting – High heat and oil resistance under aggressive polishing cycles
✅ Uniform Grain Distribution – Reduces scratch depth and ensures repeatable results
✅ Clean Cutting Action – Compatible with wet or dry use (with coolant/lubricant)
For camshaft lobes and journals, adjust the grit sequence based on base material and production tolerance.
